Cafe Biz Expo Brisbane to be launched at Veneziano First Pour

Over the last 10 years Cafe Biz has alternated between Sydney & Melbourne. In 2014 Cafe Biz will head north to Brisbane in partnership with the AustralAsian Specialty Coffee Association and the QLD Coffee Community Group. In addition, Cafe Biz Brisbane will host the QLD Specialty Coffee Championships.

Brisbane has an amazing café scene supported by some of Australia’s leading coffee roasting businesses. Key to growth in this market has been the population boom in Southern Queensland, which has geographically joined four major areas together (Gold Coast, Ipswich, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast) with a population of over 3.4 million. Our research indicates that there are over 15,000 coffee service points across the state.

The Café Biz exhibition is the link for suppliers to engage not only the café market but to all points out of home where coffee is sold. The collective aim of Café Biz is that attendees can make the purchasing decisions across all categories for the business they represent. Café Biz attracts attendance from a broad spectrum of the trade including café owners, baristas, chefs, purchasing managers and new starters.

Cafe Biz 2014 will be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds on 15th & 16th March. An official media launch will be held at First Pour Brisbane from 3pm Saturday 28th September. This function will also feature the QLD Regional Barista Championship final (commencing at 4pm) and there will be a number of prizes available for attendees.  We invite all of our industry partners to come along and be part of the action at this special event.
