Café Culture is dedicated to the networking and marketing needs of the entire Café Industry. We specialise in tailored marketing campaigns to develop solutions based upon your business objectives. To increase brand awareness, launch a new product and to help your bottom line we offer a range of public relations, media and marketing communication services.

Working at both a corporate and grass roots level the Café Culture team member’s expertise has been gained through years of industry involvement. By being fully immersed in the industry through business and retail management, trade marketing, owning our own cafes, café and barista consulting and coaching, creating industry events, competitions and expos and traveling worldwide to gain knowledge and insight into the industry on a global level. This involvement and research is an integral part of our commitment to the industry ensuring that we stay at the forefront of industry news, trends, resources and marketing ideas.

Café Culture has successfully created Café Culture trade magazine, the annual Café Biz expo, the Trans Tasman Barista Championship, State of Origin Barista Championships, Australia’s largest Latte Art Competition, the Coffee Chain Challenge, Café of the Year and the Golden Bean Roaster Competition & Conference. This platform ensures opportunities for business participation and inclusion within the entire café sector.


Launched in February 2014, COBAA (Café Owner’s & Barista’s Association) is the industry body that represents the interests of independent cafes and franchised cafes throughout Australia.
The Association is a vehicle for like-minded café busines s owners and coffee professionals that are seeking improved industry communication, focused small business cafe services as well as up to date café owner and barista news and information.
COBAA meets these industry needs via working directly with other associations, key café suppliers, distributors, franchise operators, café events, media and the financial services sector to provide Australian cafés with real benefits.
COBAA are proud to partner of the upcoming Cafe Biz Expo which will be held at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre on May 23rd & 24th. During the event COBAA will be conducting workshops designed to educate and help cafe owners.
