HIGHLIGHTS

Green Bean Zone
Instead of coffee roasters making the trek to origin we are bringing origin to the Golden Bean. This new addition will allow conference delegates to cup up to 100 origins, source new coffees and build new business relationships.

Keynote Speaker: Dr Charles (Chuck) Hahn
Director and Brew Master of Malt Shovel Brewery.

One of Australia’s highest profile brewers, Dr Chuck Hahn’s career spans more than 30 years across three countries. He has held positions with Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado, Lion Breweries in New Zealand and Tooth and Reschs Breweries and the Lion Nathan group in Sydney, Australia. He also founded the Hahn Brewery in Sydney in 1988, which became part of the Tooheys Brewery and Lion Nathan in early 1993.
Chuck Hahn is currently the brewmaster at the Malt Shovel Brewery which is located in the former Hahn Brewery, where a range of flavoursome ales are brewed in honour of James Squire, Australia’s first brewer.
Dr Hahn is not only a master craftsman, elevating the science of brewing to an art form; he is also a passionate believer in the importance of complementing good foods with great beers.
