Monday 9th September
3pm to 5pm  Coffee Notes Coffee Appraisal
A panel of expert industry judges will present their feedback on 6 specialty coffees tested under a blind tasting format – espresso and milk based coffees.
5pm – 6.30pm  Traditional Cupping Session
This session will provide the opportunity to meet the green bean guys behind the coffee. Sample their coffees in a traditional cupping session and learn about the unique qualities of each of the origins presented.
Green Bean Importers: Coffee Brothers, Condesa and 3 Brothers.

Tuesday 10th September
Specialty, Craft & Artisan – Workshop
2pm – 2.45pm  Peter Mengler
Managing Director – Cravve Chocolate
Chocolate comes in many forms and from many origins. This session will explain how as a specialty craft product such as chocolate is part of the cafe offering and how your cafe can tell the story to create interest and sales.

3pm – 3.45pm  Nathan Wakeford
Managing Director – Somage Fine Foods
This sessions provides fundamental knowledge to support food service related businesses wishing to gain a product and service superiority in their offering of specialty tea. Topics include specialty tea manufacture, factors affecting tea quality, tea preparation, brewing equipment and in store promotion.

4pm – 4.45pm  Frankie Shi
Australian Latte Art Champion, Australian Cupping Champion 2013
This demonstration will introduce the how and why of latte art, not just a skill to learn, but as a marketing and sales tool to help build your cafes reputation and coffee sales.

Wednesday 11th September
2pm – 5pm  Chux Barista Cup
Round #1

Thursday 12th September
2pm – 5pm  Chux Barista Cup
Round #2 / Semi Final / Grand Final
