Organic Winner

Melba Coffee

No. 6

Led by two cousins bearing the same name of Johnny Frangoulis, Melba Coffee has been the quiet achiever, unassumingly mastering great blends and making coffee for over a decade now. Based in Dandenong, their factory freshly roasts and distributes unique and specialty blends to some of Melbourne’s most popular cafés. They also have distribution in Adelaide and Queensland.
Their winning organic espresso blend (No.6) has been directly sourced from specialty farms, which are organic Rainforest Alliance or organic Fair Trade aligned farms.
Their passion and commitment to what they do, has meant they have dedicated a lot of time “doing it’ and little time ‘talking about it”. John Snr believes, and regularly reminds his staff and customers, “that coffee speaks for itself”. This humble approach, and a lot of hard work, has led them to where they are today – recognised by highly skilled baristas as great roasters who listen to baristas’ requirements before developing blends.
“IT’S TIME TO START LISTENING TO THIS COFFEE.”
