Neal Robinson, aged 62, passed away recently following a courageous fight against cancer.
Neal worked for over 25 years at Bunn-O-Matic Corporation, beginning in 1986 as a District Sales Manager for the Southeastern United States. He was promoted to Regional Sales Manager, then Regional Vice President for the Southeastern United States. In 1993 he served as Senior Vice President, US Sales & Customer Support. During 1999 he moved to the position of Senior Vice President, International Sales and most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Global Projects.
Neal authored articles and was featured in various food and beverage publications, where he gave insight from his leadership toward promoting best quality practices in the industry. He was always grateful for the opportunity to travel the world, for the people he worked with and was a key member in expanding Bunn-O-Matic’s international business.
In 2009, Neal received the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe Lifetime Achievement Award. He took great pride in strengthening the coffee industry from ‘Seed to Cup’.
Neal greatly enjoyed a good game of golf, photography, reading, travelling, running, Civil War history and as a young man, he loved to water ski.
Neal was a very generous and fun person, who was alway willing to lend a helping hand.
