“Success is the biggest motivation for a person, especially when success comes from others telling and showing you how to be better.” Harsh says those in the café industry need to create dynamic and encouraging spaces in which their teams can learn. This allows businesses to maintain their focus during the prosperous and the challenging times.
“It’s very import to keep enduring even when things are harder,” Harsh says. “And at the same time, you have to keep teaching the people around you.”
This kind of commitment to his team and education mean his staff is extra motivated. “There’s no point in only being motivated yourself and having a team without motivation because success it a team effort: to quote an old coach of mine “if you work as hard as you have always done, you will always be where you’ve always been” meaning if you want to move forward, you need to push yourself more and more.
