Tasmania’s cafe scene has come a long way since the state’s first espresso machine was installed in the Manhattan Milkbar in Hobart in 1956. Move forward to 2016 and a culture of innovation has the city buzzing with a vibrant cafe industry and food culture of more than 100 cafes.
Café Biz Roadshow is in its twelfth year and this year embarked on touring four major industry growth centres to showcasing the breadth of technology, products and services available to the café industry. Cafe Biz Roadshow will head to Hobart and be held at the Hobart Showgrounds on the 10th of August. The event will consist of a trade exhibition featuring leading industry suppliers, workshop featuring local industry leaders, barista competition and networking events. All designed to assist cafe owners to efficiently connect with leading suppliers and equip with the tools for success. More news will be shared soon.
About the Cafe Biz National Roadshow
In response to industry feedback over the last decade, and a widening gap in the marketplace, the Café Culture International (CCI) team has programmed this series of targeted and intense single-day events to connect people within the café industry. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to exploit the commercial possibilities in strengthening and emerging markets without prohibitive costs and time commitments.
