Many companies are born of altruistic ideas but what is rare is one that can stick steadfast to these over 19 years of business growth. Tea Tonic is one of these! Right from its humble beginnings when as a practicing Naturopath specialising in skin conditions, Lisa Hilbert first blended a powerful combination of herbs as an infusion for clients to drink medicinally between visits. This worked so well that soon other people began requesting it just to improve their general skin tone. This became Complexon Tea and from this single blend Tea Tonic was born with its philosophy of “Food is Medicine”. This focus on health still sets Tea Tonic apart from other tea companies to this very day.

Now 19 years, 25 blends and trillions of cups of tea later, founder Lisa Hilbert and her dedicated team are justifiably proud of what Tea Tonic has achieved. Tea Tonic’s unique vision has never been compromised and the level of brand loyalty now achieved as well as the legion of Tea Tonic fans covering every part of Australia is testimony to the success of her holistic approach. Through its life Tea Tonic has always been innovative and ahead of trend while never swaying from its original commitment to quality organic products. All blends are still personally formulated by Lisa Hilbert to focus on health support, wellbeing and taste.

Tea Tonic caters for both the discerning personal tea drinkers, cafes and large scale event centres. Its innovation includes a small filter adaptor that fits most plastic water bottles which allows customers to have ice tea in areas where glass bottles are not allowed. They also distribute a new “pouch” which allows use of loose leaf tea in take away cups so the client can enjoy the full flavour of tea while on the run. When it comes to teabags, Tea Tonic is an industry leader using only unbleached teabag filter paper in individually wrapped envelopes to ensure our fully biodegradable teabags maintain abundant fragrance, maximum potency and goodness in every cup of tea.

Cafes & Event Centres are catered for with loose leaf teas supplied in volumes up to 1kg with eye catching labelled display jars available for behind or in front of counter use while bulk caterer’s packs of our fresh teabags provide a very economical service to the industry.

On the retail side our design team are constantly working on creating striking visual presentations with stylish, colourful and functional packaging for Tea Tonic’s extensive retail range of teas in various forms and ancillary products from distinctive teapots and tea cups to infusers and stainless steel candle light warmers.

With iced tea being all the rage and summer fast approaching Tea Tonic has a great range of products to cover all occasions from wine bottle shaped table bottles to an “on the go” hot or cold glass bottle with built in infuser and its own thermal sleeve.

Now with 25 great tasting teas and a vast array of ancillary products Tea Tonic is poised for an even more successful future.
