New grant program for Artisan Producers has been announced by QLD Government

The Queensland Government has announced a new grant program for Artisan Producers to help them grow their businesses, access new market opportunities and enhance their gourmet food expertise.

To be eligible, your business must be an artisanal producer of gourmet food (including non-alcoholic beverages) based in Queensland, with less than 20 employees and using ingredients in a unique or skilled manner. Only one application per ABN.

You can request training, engage a consultant, advisor, or business coach for up to three months to help establish or grow your business.

If successful, a 50% funding contribution of up to $5 000 (ex GST) is provided following project completion. The minimum grant funding amount is $1,000 (i.e. the value of the project is at least $2 000) and maximum funding is $5,000 for projects of $10,000. You must be able to pay the entire project up front.

This is a great opportunity for many FAN members and we encourage you to read more here.

FAN’s Grants Partner, Successful Grants will be running an information session on Thursday 1 August from 6-7pm at the Big Pineapple about the grant and will provide tips on completing the application.

Successful Grants is also offering a discount to FAN members to write the application. The cost is $470 (incl GST).
