After 2 days of intense competition it was a nail biting finish between the Victorian and the ACT teams. After the 30 cup final the scores were tied and an overtime round comprising of 9 drinks was required to find a winner. It came down to the last cup in the overtime round for judges to award the winning team Victoria and the title of the 2012 State of Origin champions. Team Victoria have now claimed back to back victories in this competition and in both cases against the ACT team in the final.
A big thank you from the organisers to all involved and those who travelled from all around Australia to be part of the event. We are already planning Da Vinci State of Origin 2013 and are looking to involve Tasmanian, Northern Teritory and South Australian teams.
