Cafés have always been tricky businesses to get right and many don’t ever get past the first six months from start up because of bad business planning. We know this at Café Culture International as we have consulted to hundreds of café start-ups during 15 years as a consulting business. Sadly, we have done nearly twice as many café repair jobs as start-ups and many of these jobs are too late for the businesses.

Café Culture International is a global café consulting business and has teamed up with USA business partners the American Barista & Coffee School to bring together the first purpose-built café school in Australia.
The School is situated in the NSW coastal town of Port Macquarie, the home of Café Culture Magazine. The school has a purpose-built training space equipped with coffee making facilities, a café kitchen and an outdoor event space. The school is in the CBD and thus close to hotels, cafes and restaurants. Port Macquarie has a number of daily flights from Sydney and Brisbane, making it easy to get to from anywhere.
The course runs one week per month and is very practical with lots of hands-on training around coffee, beverage and food menus. Course participants will walk away with the right knowledge and plan in place to open a successful café business anywhere in the world. The Australasian Café School has employed educators that understand the café business as operators as well as being the right people for future business mentoring.
