“Settle it son, who’s the champion?” Wu-Tang Clan asked the question, and we can confirm one of their biggest fans has been awarded the title of South Australia’s Breezy Master thanks to Almond Breeze Australia.

Joshua Rivers combined his love for coffee and the Wu-Tang Clan when he named his Brighton café Coffee Rules Everything Around Me (C.R.E.A.M.), now critically regarded as one of Adelaide’s favourite venues.

Joshua made the crowd go wild at the latte art competition generously hosted by Rio Coffee on Tuesday. The competitors had them smiling and on their tiptoes with excitement until the final round when Joshua claimed victory from Chapter Café’s Donald Wu, while Celeste Dixon from Ian Callahan’s Bar 9 took home the bronze.

Thanks to Almond Breeze Australia, Joshua took home $1000 and will head to Sydney in October to compete in the grand final for the title of Grand Breezy Master and an all expenses paid trip to North America.

The South Australian Breezy Master said his experience working with Almond Breeze calmed his nerves. “I love Almond Breeze; it’s really easy to work with, I’ve been using it for years because it’s closer to full cream milk in its latte art ability than any other milk variant, hands down.”

He also admitted to listening to his musical heroes to get some inspiration before competing. His psych-up jam? “‘Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing Ta F— Wit!’” he laughs.
