To create this Italian inspired hot chocolate no special equipment is needed and it can be prepared 2 ways – using a milk steamer from a coffee machine or a chocolate warmer. This gourmet chocolate powder adds something different in the way of hot chocolates – ‘design-to-excite’ your customers with The Art of Blend Italian Style Hot Chocolate

Italian Style Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
200 ml milk
40g Italian Style Hot Chocolate
Peanut Butter

Directions (using coffee machine milk steamer)
Pour 200ml of milk into stainless steel jug and add 1 scoop (40g) Italian Style Hot Chocolate powder. Insert steam wand and turn it on, release the initial air quickly and submerge steam wand into mix. Continue to heat until the product starts to thicken (75-80ºC). Spread desired amount of peanut butter around the serving glass, pour mix into serving glass and serve.

Directions (using chocolate warmer)
Pour 5 litres of full cream milk into a food-grade mixing bucket and add a 1kg bag of Italian Style Hot Chocolate while stirring with a whisk. Keep mixing for about 30 seconds or until all the sugar has dissolved. Pour the product into the chocolate warmer, set the temperature to 80°C with agitation on. Once it has reached that temperature, change the setting to 65¯C (serving temperature) and leave with agitation on. Smear peanut butter inside the serving glass, pour beverage into glass and serve.
