I.M.S. produces a range of competition filters designed to bring out the best in your coffee
The SHAPE and PERFORATION have been designed and calibrated to ensure the ideal extraction.
The recalibration of the perforation type means that there is uniformity in the diameter of the holes and the surface mirror finish facilitates cleaning of the filter
The I.M.S. COMPETITION FILTER enhances the high quality features of different types of coffee, maintaining the body and texture of the cream.
The shape of the hole is CIRCULAR with CONICAL cross section.
The inner wall of the I.M.S. perforation is polished, with no corners or burrs. These unique features allow the coffee to slip out without obstruction.
The electropolishing finish ensures a smooth surface that is easily cleaned, with unmatched sanitary and non-contaminating qualities, it also significantly reduces adherence of dirt, helping the removal of coffee residuals.
I.M.S. COMPETITION SHOWERS
I.M.S. have created a competition shower that differs from the many other shower screens available due to the application of innovative technologies.
There range of competition showers come in two varieties
The I.M.S WIRE MEMBRANE SHOWER SCREEN has a filtering power of 35 µM and its main feature is an elevated filtering capacity which, as well as ensuring an even water distribution throughout the coffee puck, also blocks access to the extract residues thereby improving the drying phase.
This allows the group to be kept clean and perfectly efficient. It also preserves both the group and the solenoid valve from wear caused by dirt
The INTEGRATED MEMBRANE SHOWER SCREEN designed by I.M.S. features a special membrane built inside the supporting body of the shower and has a filtering capacity of 200 µM.
The highlight of this product is the unique perforation design which, in addition to ensuring the best possible coffee, makes this product extremely durable and easy to clean. Manufactured as a single piece, the body is strengthened and the surface is completely smooth, preventing any grind-clogging danger areas.
