A chapter from Adore Estate

Above being able to share our blends with more and more people, the café sites we roast coffee for always seem to have a great story to tell, from the time they approach us before opening, to when they come to us and to say they’re ready to expand. Let’s take you on a boutique café journey.

Our first stop begins at the Miss Pellier café and bar, located in the heart of Paddington at the iconic 5 ways intersection, the bright and fresh café stands as an embodiment of the suburb and its fruitful history. For those wondering, the late Miss Pellier also known as Florence Broadhurst was a well known designer who lived and worked in Paddington. You would probably recognize her famous wallpaper designs seen across the world and of course in the café itself. Miss Pellier café and bar is set to open in the coming weeks.

Take a trip across to Kensington and you’ll find Penny Lane Bar and café, a fresh and new addition to the University of New South Wales (UNSW) campus. We especially love stories where our customers are able to continue to grow their business, Penny Lane’s first café opened in UTS and they’ve successfully been able to expand to their newest site at UNSW. Here at Adore Estate Coffee we believe in growth as a means of success and continually support our customers with this vision.

If we skip over to Canberra one of the newest but older cafes in Canberra can be found. Gus’ Place first opened in 1965 and introduced outdoor dining to Canberra in the 1970s. It has since been closed until now, where it has been given a new lease on life with a fresh face that pays homage to the heritage and the meaning it has to the local community. It’s these little stories that make our industry so fascinating and bring a new dimension to our work. Adore Estate Coffee most certainly wouldn’t be the brand it is today without the character and support of people behind the café and their stories.
