The new Castaway® Coffee Bag range, from food packaging company, MPM Marketing Services, has been launched to provide coffee roasters with a ‘one-stop-shop’ packaging solution. The new coffee bags complement an existing range of paper coffee cups, napkins, wipes, knock tube bags and containers, to offer customers ordering efficiency and high-quality packaging for their coffee beans.

MPM’s vision with the range is to support coffee roasters to grow their businesses with packaging that is fit-for-purpose, and that matches the exacting quality control standards that are essential in roasting and producing the best beans in the industry.
Two bag types make up the range of coffee bags available, and include 1kg side gusset bags and Peel ‘n’ Seal block bottom bags. Well-suited to wholesale customers, the 1kg side gusset coffee bag provides the ideal volume to suit most grinding hoppers, making filling quick and easy. The K-seal at the base ensures that all beans are emptied into the hopper.
Block bottom bags are available in three sizes 250g, 500g and 1kg and allow multiple price points for generating profit through retail sales. The block bottom design provides additional stability on the shelf, and reduces shelf footprint allowing more facings and greater visibility for the product. The block bottom range also features a Peel ‘n’ Seal zipper that allows customers to reseal the bag, keeping beans fresh and secure.
Showcasing a brand or blend is easy with custom printing, allowing coffee roasters to gain market share and build their brand in an increasingly competitive industry. The high-quality gravure printing process can produce up to ten colours, delivering photographic image quality, with sharp graphics and text.
