Australian Pork will host its inaugural Casual Dining Symposium this month, bringing together people from across the industry.
The event will be held on November 22 at the Northern Sydney Institute, Ryde TAFE, and APL Marketing Manager Mitch Edwards, said it would focus on the latest industry hot topics.
“We are bringing together industry leaders to share their experiences and thoughts on a range of topics,” he said.
“These will vary from the big issues, like skills shortages and how to support the next generation, as well as social media and all things pork.”
As the first Australian Pork event targeting the casual dining sector, including cafes, clubs and pubs, and it was also a chance for people to share ideas and network with their peers.
“We’re pleased to be hosting this event for a growth food service market,” Mr Edwards said.
“The final topics and speakers are just being locked in, but I’m proud of the line-up we have, which includes familiar faces and experts.
“During the day, moderators will ask our various panels to share their experiences and opinions.
“This event seems to be resonating with the sector, as interest has been strong, however we’d like to see more café chefs and owners attend. We hope to see a broad range of industry there on the day to take part in this new event.”
