FERRERO FOODSERVICE Launches Global First NUTELLA® Foodservice Facebook Page
Ferrero Foodservice allows global-first direct communication with customers
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, APRIL 2017: Ferrero Foodservice has launched a “Nutella Foodservice” Facebook page specifically for foodservice professionals in Australia and New Zealand.
The foodservice Facebook page is a global-first and sees the company communicating directly with end-users, something that typically only happened through wholesalers in the past.
The new page, which has grown to over 11,600 likes since its inception in December, gives customers an insight into the creative uses for Nutella, connects them with other cafes and venues and offers regular giveaways and competitions.
“We have been overwhelmed with the response to the Nutella Foodservice Facebook in the first few months. Cafés, restaurants and patisseries have long been using Nutella in their kitchens but haven’t had an outlet to ask questions, share their creations and get in touch with us directly until now,” said Jodie Tripodi, National Sales Manager Foodservice, Ferrero Australia & New Zealand.
While the page was created to build relationships with foodservice trade and update professionals in the industry on exciting new ideas, it was also the cornerstone for the launch of the new NUTELLA® 1kg Piping Bag which is generating interest and excitement amongst venues in the region. Posts announcing the launch reached over 500,000 people in the region and a single post alone generated over 2,700 comments, demonstrating the market anticipation for the new product.

Venues in Australia and New Zealand are encouraged to get in contact with NUTELLA® through the Facebook page and ‘like’ the page to take advantage of huge giveaways throughout the year.
