French-style bakery manufacturer Bakers Maison has introduced a new lower-cost ‘ready to bake’ croissant to its range. The new product, known as “Luna”, has been launched as a sub-brand product to join the extensive Bakers Maison range.
Bakers Maison is a specialist manufacturer of frozen French-style breads, pastries, and sweets available as a fully bake or par-bake for breads and fully bake, ready to bake and ready to prove for croissants.
Bakers Maison General Manager, Pascal Chaneliere, is rightfully proud of the new Luna croissant, which joins the company’s range of croissant products.
“We chose the name Luna, meaning moon, which aligns nicely with ‘croissant’, a word that means crescent,” Chaneliere said. “Luna was developed by our product development team to offer a lower price than our premium croissants, which we’ve achieved by sourcing economical natural ingredients.”
The Luna croissant is manufactured at Bakers Maison’s state-of-the-art facility at Revesby in Sydney’s south west. The product is snap-frozen in its ready to bake state, making it ideal to ship to anywhere in Australia.
“We’ve invested in the most up-to-date equipment to produce our range of croissants, which roll off our production line every day. They are distributed around Australia to be enjoyed in cafes, restaurants, at catered events, by food delivery services, and more,” said Chaneliere.
Bakers Maison’s croissant range is available in ready to bake, ready to prove and fully baked options. The range also includes the other new croissants which are filled with almond or hazelnut.
Bakers Maison products are distributed to the foodservice sector throughout Australia via an extensive distribution network.
The company uses traditional French recipes and mostly Australian ingredients.
