There’s a transition point bubbling away in the background that will in time transform the carbonated beverage space.
For too long cafe’s have had to endure capacity issues with carbonated drink box’s stacked in every conceivable space on hand. Furthermore, there’s the fridge that again takes up at least another square metre of space. Then there is the endless stacking, serving and clearing of bottles and let’s not forget having to pay once again to have them disposed of. For what? I $1 profit margin per bottle?
Well that model fails for the cafe owner, the environment and the consumer. With the cost of filtered carbonated water system tumbling (mainly through cheap lease contracts), cafe’s can now deliver low sugar, organic craft soda at the same price as bottled water yet in a glass and let’s face it. If you’re a cafe of class you need to serve by the glass, bottles are really only for on-the-run.
Our new 4L one way pour bag in box allow Cafe’s to serve 400ml drinks for 50cents and sell for $5:50! Thats a 400 increase in profit per serve. A no brainer. Not to mention the people we’re pulling back into category from plain water drinking (by being low sugar and organic)
