Envision have been recycling plastic bottle tops to produce mobility aids for children in need of prosthetic hands and arms.
The campaign has been a huge success, but they still need help with donations to fund the processing of the tops.
Envisions’ Roisin Carnie (On behalf of Sean Teer) had these words of thanks to share…
“Thanks to all those who have donated to our Go Fund Me campaign! The massive increase in bottle tops being collected across the whole country is also fantastic but this now makes it even more important that we obtain the equipment to process all these tops into hands/arms.
We have therefore reduced the current target to $50,000, the amount that is urgently required to sustain the processing of tops.
With the great numbers of people collecting we believe that if everyone collecting tops just donates $10-$20 we could achieve this $50,000 target by the end of July.
If you can spread the word to those who are helping collect tops and give them this link – https://www.gofundme.com/envision-hands or people can also go to our website https://envision.org.au/donate/ where they can donate via PayPal or direct into our account that would be greatly appreciated!”
