World Coffee Events Announces Special Feature Activity at HOST Milan 2013
World Coffee Events (WCE) is proud to introduce a brand new feature activity – WBC All-Stars – to take place at the HOST Milan event in the Fieramilano from 18-22 October, 2013. HOST Milan is the international exhibition of the hospitality industry and world leader in Ho.Re.Ca. and Retail (http://www.host.fieramilano.it/en). It welcomes the world’s coffee business in 2013, here.
The World Barista Championship (WBC) celebrated it’s 14th edition in 2013, and to highlight the achievement of several World Barista Champions, WCE is bringing them together in a rare opportunity to see them interviewed live with feedback on their award-winning performances. During this 5 day program, you will also see them challenge each other in an on-demand signature beverage performance, but this time the panel of judges are people like YOU – audience members interested in participating. Featuring both past and the current WBC champions, like 2013 Champion, Pete Licata, 2010 Champion, Michael Phillips, 2009 Champion, Gwilym Davies, and 2007 Champion, James Hoffman, along with other WBC Finalists. This is an event you don’t want to miss! Taking coffee forums to the next level, WCE will integrate a ‘Coffee Talk Show’ segment led by emcees, Peter Giuliano of SCAA and Steve Leighton of HasBean Coffee, inviting famed coffee industry representatives to comment and discuss a variety of hot topics.
