Chef Works Australia to launch NEW 2018 Uniform Collection

‘Hospitality Begins Front of House’

Chef Works Australia to launch NEW 2018 Uniform Collection at Fine Food Exhibition in September, featuring cutting-edge styles for Front of House.

“Every creator needs a promoter; the most creative people are not always very good at self-promoting. Actors and singers need agents, artists need galleries and chefs need front of house to make their work shine. If you look at the best restaurants, they are successful as they have a great relationship between the kitchen and floor team.”

Somer Sivrioglu, Executive Chef and Owner at Anason (Barangaroo, Sydney)

A memorable experience starts with a great first impression. According to Forbes, ‘consumers make 1000 judgements in the first 7 seconds’. Stanley Wong, Executive Chef at East Side Grill (Chippendale, Sydney) says “Not that everything that follows isn’t important as well, but the first impression is the most lasting one. We spend so much time on décor, and uniforms are equally significant to jive with the concept”.

With our new habit of scrolling through endless photos of mouth-watering food and surreal settings on social media, expectations from customers are higher than ever. To a customer, the standard of a venue is a good indication of the quality of food they will receive. “The first impression when a customer enters a venue is the most important. This sets the overall feel of what service and standards that they will get” Greg Piner Group Chef at Vault 21 & Prohibition (Dunedin, New Zealand)

Further raising the bar on a great first impression is the quality of the human interaction between customers and employees. Chef Works Australia aims to support you in putting your best foot forward, by developing uniforms with comfort and functionality that give staff members’ confidence, and unite the team.

Get ready for over 250 NEW cutting-edge styles, inspired by tales of open flames, renegade chefs and underground supper clubs. Ever respecting the balance of form and functionality Chef Works has found a way to set a new standard in style, yet again. The biggest product launch for Chef Works Australia carries a raft of innovations, exciting new styles, new fabrics, and unique design elements.

The launch will unveil new styles like the Berkeley and Uptown Aprons, whose cross back straps alleviate and redistribute weight from the neck, taking much-needed pressure off staff during an already high-pressure shift. New fabric washes include faded chambray to waxed olive, statement-making suspenders give the wearer new choices – go bold or blend in, it’s up to you. With a new approach to fit, Chef Works 2018 Collection features more streamlined silhouettes, curve-hugging jackets, and tailored apparel, offering style without compromising durability.

Designed to get the job done without getting in your way, the 2018 Collection offers uncompromising gear, for whatever the workplace throws your way.

Be one of the first to feast your eyes on the new pieces at the Fine Food Expo in September at the International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour. Visit Chef Works Australia at stand F36

“The first impression is everything! First we look, then we look again and again.

It’s a must, in my opinion, to have a great looking venue but as important to have well-presented front of house stuff. I can still cook great food but if it doesn’t match the ambience, look and service, I lose points.”

Luca Ciano (Multi-award winning Chef, Author, Consultant and Entrepreneur)

“Your first impression sets the standard for the whole experience, and if you get the recipe right, you will have repeat business, a key factor to a successful operation”

Greg Piner Group Chef at Vault 21 & Prohibition (Dunedin, New Zealand)
